The salted egg craze may have first taken flight in Singapore, but Eastwood City is where it will make its home for the entire month of February.

Starting Feb. 3, Eastwood City’s weekly food fair, the Weekend Gourmet Market, is putting the spotlight on the Salted Egg trend that has swept through Asia. Find an assorted collection of delectable salted egg products including the popular salted egg chips during the month long event.

In this special edition of the Weekend Gourmet Market, Eastwood City is giving the salted egg trend a Filipino twist by partnering with local communities and small business owners from Pateros, a known capital for egg products in Manila.

Find the best collection of Salted Egg recipes from Pateros and up to 17 Eastwood City partner establishments. Get your salted egg fix with products like salted pastries, chips and even pastas in the first and only fair dedicated to this local delicacy.

During the formal launch of the fair on Feb 4, 11:30 PM at the Eastwood Mall Atrium, guests will see the traditional Pateros method for creating the salted eggs, witness cooking demos by Chelsea Kitchen and get a taste of the salted egg treats from the food sampling. Finally guests will also get to try an egg mosaic decorating contest by Mosaic by the Creek.
